Whats the best knot for shocker laeder attachment and hows it tied best

i usually use the albright knot, easy to tie.

has anyone used this knot the slim beauty looks a bit bulky to me could hear it clatter of the rings !!!!!! :oops: :oops:

Ive always used the same leader knot that Roger tied, but with a spider hitch in the running line, same 5 turns on the uni end and its never let me down once, always thought "if its not broke why try to fix it"

John as you know, to small a guide and the tip action of some rods can play a part in the noise made by the knot, but I didnt like the look of that first knot.

yes tom but as you know most people use either 10 mm 0r 12mm at the tip of the rod mate ,can see that knot causing a lot of trouble for guys.its a bit bulky for my likeing ,i use the spider hitch shock leader knot or a bimini twist.
