Flounders

Has anyone any good spots either north coast or Donegal where you might get a good days flounder fishing , i promised to take a friend for a day when hes up here on Christmas holidays, any tips on baits times etc would be great many thanks.

rag or lug tipped with mackerel or squid, peeler crab for better fish. ny time of day night is bewtter at this time of the year but you will get some during the day light hours. 1 up 1 down or flappers with plenty of bling including beads floubder floats, sequents and blades.

as for marks fish ny sandy beeches most good numbers of them.

surf/clean sandy beaches will hold flounder, just dont cast too far

on my local mark the more bling the better. the less bling the more of other species you get, best beads are white and pink, white and orange, white and yellow or yellow and pink.
