Ballyquin on Sunday??

I went down to ballyquin for a walk with the dog on sunday afternoon and there was a small competition on the beach with about 8 or 9 anglers. I was just wondering does anyone know how it went as i am thinking of hitting this spot over the next few weeks and its a place i havent got to fish yet. Also any tips in relation to this spot would be greatfully accepted ie bait tides rigs etc etc... also which side is best to fish from ( stream side or toilet block side)?????? pms welcome and kept hush hush of course:wink: thanks.
