Thats a Blenny - probably a Common Blenny - no doubt somebody more expert than me on identifying fish will confirm that.

Looks a bit like a scorpion... (I know its a blenny! :roll: - I'm just saying...)
Scorpions bloat up their belly like that too, when out of the water.

def not a tadpole fish.i`ve had alot of them from bangor pier and this is what a tadpole fish looks like

its def a shanny - with davy on this

it actually has a small mouth relative to its head in comparison to a tadpole fish

I GUESS THEM LASTEST PHOTOS CONFIRM BLENNY BUT IT DID LOOK A BIT LIKE A TADPOLE FROM PIC AND BIT OF SQUID ON BAIT LOOKED A LITTLE LIKE A MOUTH. THATS SOLVES THAT NICE TADPOLES DAVY
