you werent fishing beside a sewage outlet by any chance?

is it one of those sea-slugs?

A t**d was my first thought when I hauled it ashore - but it was munching on my bait - then proceeded to spray a vicious white liquid at me - dont know if that was poisonous or if it was just happy to see me :lol: :lol:

I guess it is some sort of sea slug - never caught anything like that before.

stood on one in Mauritius a while back, foot was covered in a sticky resin concoction, no amount of scrubbing could get the stuff of easily
