Hi lads, was planning on going to greystones with my dad tomorrow for a bit of a flat fish bash. only problem is that the tide is fully low at 4.40 Is their any point in going out or are we just wasting our time? cheers,Ian

Depends on the weather..if it's sunny and calm forget it but if it's overcast, rainy and a bit windy it's worth a shot.

Maybe after low tide(4.30) heading into the evening, but not during the day, certainly not from the beach anyway, might be better to try from the rocks, if its calm and bright that is.

I THINK YOUR BETTER OFF FISHING FROM LOW WATER UP WHEN GOING FOR FLATS THEY ARE USUALLY THE FIRST FISH THAT COME IN WITH THE TIDE.
