Ardglass Golf Course

I'm thinking of stopping of at Ardglass some evening next week after work.

I read somewhere that the rocks below the 13th hole is the place to go.

This sounds very specific as that whole section of rocks at the golf course looks fishy.

Also, the back of the pier looks as if it would be worth a throw.

Does anyone have any tips?

only fished here twice, (spinnin for macks with my wee bro.)

but at low water behind the pier there were lads fishing with rag on the float, who were seeing a fair bit of action from pollack ( up to about 4-5Lb) and some good wrasse, - over by the rocks there were a few people fishin, but looked a bit hectic so gave it a miss.

loads of seals there - there was one popping up right in front of us, as if to say " have ya not got any yit" -

we got some good sized macks spinning - an i knocked up a rig with some belly strip - but not so much as a nibble - so maybe you really need rag, as the guys using it were hitting in to fish pretty regular

i`ve fished ardglass a few times but not sure about the 13th hole,i dont think it would matter too much as it is deep water all along the rocks.
the main problem is the mackie bashers so its worth going for a long walk to get away from them
some nice spots and deep water gullies everywhere.i wouldn`t mind having that stretch of coastline on my doorstep,it has great potential for wrasse, congers and anything else that likes it rough, you could maybe even pull out a huss or 2
