any one ever cught anytin in meenogohane pier.i tried with shads but caught natin, looks lovely for wrasse on a high tide

Thats on the North side of Kerryhead I think. You can deep spin from the pier itself with jellyworms around dusk and pick up small pollock, from what I can remember is is quite deep so let your jellyworm sink.
At LW follow the shoreline around to the left and you will find plenty of wrasse.
Not the greatest of marks, you should try ballingarry island which is a few miles down the road from that, better fishing. Fish from LW.

Hi Lads, Funny this one should come up, went down ther a couple days ago to suss it out wrasse, pollock, looked good deep white water, never fished it before and don,t know anyone that has,havn,t done much rock fishing so looking for a bit of info really, was down at high water and it looked a bit hairy, thanks john for the info will defo give it a shot, never heard of Ballingarry island is that towards Kilmore
