well its summer again (at least on the calander) and its time for our pilgramage down the east coast for a few days fishing. gonna hit our usual haunts at clogherhead, bettystown and the boyne estuary. collected 4lb of fresh ragworm today a load of peeler and a kilo of frozen squid and 40 frozen sand eel     so if anyone has fished these areas lately could you please let me know how they are fishing. or if you know any decent spots even pm me. i'm sure i could spare some bait for a bit of local knowlege     or a meet for a wee session. we're leaving belfast on friday night so we can start early saturday morning. who knows we might even get our first bass or thornie to add to the 2008 species count    and if anyone knows of any boats going out for a days fishing in these areas it would be greatly appreciated. jordan has me tortured about getting a tope or any kinda flattie to add to his species count
