Pat,
Mackerel and launce are showing at Culoo already - really good size mackerel for this time of year too 1lbers+ fat little fellas. Plenty of big launce available too to shrimp rigs.

No idea mate, don't venture down that way too often - only for bait. Kevin Braine of kbfishing is the man to talk to about the fishing down there.

Pat,
tides are slack next week, so not the best week to travel. Given that, the point at the end of Rossbeigh should fish well. This is about 25 miles from Valentia.
All the beaches around Waterville are throwing up a few bass and plenty of Flounders. With the South east winds there should be good surf. Low water is in the evening so fishing the flood into dark should produce.
If the weather settles which it is supposed to then St. Finians Bay usually has a surf coming in, unfortunately as it is the most reliable beach for a surf it also attracts a lot of surfers and it is a small beach.
Wrasse and possibly pollock will be turning up now, Try around the lighthouse on the Island for some decent wrasse.

Thanks lads will see how it goes
