Tips Antrim Coast?

Hi lads. I'm planning to go to the Glenariff valley on the May bank holiday weekend with the wife. Needless to say I'll pack my fishing tackle and hope to be able to get out early in the mornings. Any tips on marks around Glenariff/Waterfoot or Cushendall? I'll be plugging/spinning with light tackle. Any chance of pollock up there? Cheers.

Hi inigo ,you'll have no shortage of marks to fish for pollack around that area , but the handiest to find would be garron point , you can leave waterfoot heading towards larne by the coast road and just as you leaving red bay around a headlnad (garron point ) you'll see a lay-by on the right hand side of the road ,park up here and cross the road and over the wee wall ,fishing below here will put you into deep water and the chance of a half decent pollack .
I'll pm you a few more spots that could be wortth a go .

Thank you, Ronald. I presume the chance of a bass up there will be much slimmer than pollock. I look forward to your pm. Cheers!
