fished velvet strand yesterday for a late bass right down near baldoyle creek - 4 bright sparks in 2 small boats dragging a net from were i was all along the beach i confronted them later while i was walking to the car and i was told the fish which i didnt see where to be sold to restuarants and i was then told to f- off or id be battared.

well just ring up ur local fisheries officer and tell them, tell them what boat it was and a description of the 2 lads. i have done it before and the lads got nabbed and the best thing is that u dont have to give ur name so no worries about being battered. after all if they are selling the fish they must be doing it more than just the once.also the restaurant might b slower to take the fish if they think they might get nabbed.
