I have ocean pvc chestwaders, tough and lightweight, neoprenes are tough but maybe a bit too warm, in the summer. oceans cost around 80-100e.

daiwa ones where great for the first few months, but then started to leak badly around the knee patches.

3 pairs of RT Crosswater Pro (last pair lasted 4 weeks before leaking at boot and knee) & 2 pairs of Grauvell Canvas in past year, avoid like the plague...... On a pair of Snowbee Neoprenes at the mo for the first time, if I get anymore than 3 months out of them, Ill consider it a success.

scierra breathables, two years before they began to leak and that was only after a lot of rock fishing and waling through forests/over fences when pike fishing.
i prefer the stocking feet type, they dont have any rigid seams so they leak a lot less

Have a pair of Snowbee one's with about 3 years, roomy light and very hard wearing! Highly recommend them, they are not Neprene.
