Quick question about braid, want to get some for my fixed spool beachcasting reel just wondering what make and breaking strength you would recommend, mostly fishing over clean ground.
Thanks in advance

I use PowerPro in 8, 10 and 20lb for spinning (I only "spin") in red and moss green so far. No complaints whatsoever. Always buy on eBay to USA.

I use 30lb Power Pro as well (mostly for spinning)I've found it quite good and have had no problems with it, it's certainly better than the braid I was using previously. Btw if you are buying it from Ebay watch out for the counterfeit stuff. There a bit more info on what to look out for on the Power Pro site

i but it by diameter, and the 50lb breaking strain is the same thickness as 12lb mono. this is a good place to buy from.

for general beach work 20 or 30 lb is fine ,the brand is one of personal choice i like tiger braid , and the grauvell stuff i tried the powerpro but it was to waxey for multi maybe its better for fixed spools?
