Alright edward only thing i know about that beach is that you can spin for bass in the summer to the far left where the rocks are.

Hi Edward,

Fished it a few weeks ago with the best of bait, fresh crab & quality lug, all i had was a few pin whiting.

As for where to fish, walk left when you go onto the beach down to the point and climb up, very easy climb actually, then fish straight out to the right of the big island. The rock edges are worth dropping a second rod over too, I've seen bass dart out from the cover to hit sandeel during the summer, you can sight fish for them but just as they're about to hit the lure they turn away, only had one small schoolie doing this, about the same size as the j-13

Wouldn't totally write it off Legend, had this fella at the tail end of last year -

It's an hours mark unfortunately, put the time in and you will be rewarded (Eventually)

in all fairness mate any trip where you get a bass is well worth the wait,, nothing better than seeing that bar of silver in the surf,,,,

Agree with Alby, you need to put the hours in at this mark. Very subtle conditions will turn the fish right off.

As for Ballinoulart, used to be a class spot. Back in about 1985, I remember having a dozen bass to to around 8 lbs in the suds in blinding sunlight in around an hour. Shows how things have changed ...
