Balscadden rocks

Hi lads, I was just wondering if there was anything to be caught at the balscadden area in Howth lately? also wondering if theirs conger floating around that area to, pm if you dont want to post back,

Usually loads of mini Dabs there too...about 10cm :? Dangerous Mark to fish this weather.. even if its a little wet its lethal on those rocks! Would prob be better of fishing the Pier, probably get the same species there with chance of flounder inside the harbour :)

had a load of whiting off the east pier tonight. blacks and mack. nothing of note. 1 small dab also. friend tried for conger, no joy. mild little wind, nice fishing seeing the rod tips go. no flounder. if you can get down to the low rock near balliscaden(over the little wall and follow the dirt track) you can fish in comfort and catch lots of dabs at times, whiting too. never got any codling here. dabs will take mackeral and sandeel, reckon black lug tipped with either best. usually small but had the odd decent one. dont know if conger stay here after november. usually better at night.
