what is this?

pretty sure its not a white, skin was too soft and it was more pink than white. found it in a whelk shell while diggin, can anyone tell me what it is? seemed exactly lie an albino king rag :?:

I think it is a ragworm that ate a whelk. Well they do have to eat stuff!!

Well they look that colour when they are wet. Or sick.

It might be sick. Take it to a vet and see if it's alright. :lol:

usually their green when sick or breeding, and red when healthy, this guys now in a bait tray to himself, and he seems very lively, the pic aint great, it was very pinky/white

yep, possibly all rag who reside in deep water have no need to turn red like their tidal cousins, evolution?

yep !! :) as you know , ragworm swim in shoals !! and bury as the tide is falling !! you must have just got it at the waters edge !! iv often dug 100 in the 1 hole just like that 1 !!
