I heard there is good flounder fishing in that area and the bass is good too razor fish is a good bait off those beaches.
Have a look at this site

try kells bay. the rocks on the right have plenty of mackerel dogs and pollack . fished there last year aswell and had dabs wrasse dogs and a huss of 12lb. there can also be bass around the small pier there. use lug crab and sandeels there the best bait there but crab is not essential. best of luck

Hi
You would be well advised to drop an email to Bob Moss in Dingle as he is very helpful and knows peninsula like no other, he would certainly be able to help you out with information on seasonal fish patterns. You can pick up his email address on Veals website. I know he gets Codling from around Wine Strand and the Smerwick Harbour area in winter. As for bass and flounder, pick any beach! Kells Bay is very sheltered from the south and south west which is handy if the weather gets uppity. HTH...

Was at Rossbehy with some friends @ weekend and got first bass of the season. Also there seem to be plenty of Mackeral still around as was in Kells a few days previously and good movement of fish casting far out from the shore.
