Hey All,
Whats the easiest way of telling these two apart - think I may have caught a small huss over the weekend but it could just as easily be a doggie.

look at the mouth - towards the snout you should see two independent lobes going towards the mouth but not touching the mouth itself - these are nasal flaps on a huss
if your looking at a dog - the nasal flaps are simple and are connected directly to the mouth

also on a huss the second dorsal fin cut half-way through the first anal fin, on a dog the second dorsal starts after the anal fin.
