 looking for advice on a multiplier reel, it is a shakespeare solar skp. i have used it to fish off peirs an rocks, but would it be anygood for beach casting, it is a fairly small reel an holds 220m of 12ib line. and as i am new to beachfishing people are giveing me advice on this, one person said dont use a multiplier with a level wind, yet someone else would say to use it. so dose it matter ? on looking at the reel i can remove one screw an the level wind comes off. so leave it on or take it off ? would be greatfull for any advice....cheers lads!!! :?

Generally Level wind is known to slow the Rate at which the line leaves the Reel, So naturally its going to cut down your casting distance, So if you're not happy with your distance I'd get rid of it, as long as you're happy enough laying line with your Thumb...
