Any of these "winter" fish showing around Donegal/Derry yet?

Need to knock a few of them off my species list and I only have until the end of October :!:

Shamrock I was just wondering where you target cod or whiting around Donegal was thinking of heading up to Teelin the weekend after next to target them. Is there anywhere else around Donegal worth trying.

Thanks
Shane

I've never caught one from the shore before Shane (never really targetted them yet) but they are taken from boats around the mouth of the Swilly so maybe from Dunaff Head etc might be worth a cast.

I'd imagine that at any deep water mark with foul ground in the colder months, you would stand a decent chance of landing one. Teelin could be just the spot...

The guys on round the north coast towards Antrim seem to have pretty steady catches, they'd be in a much better position to advise you than myself.
