cockles

when digging for lug im finding a lot of cockles ,has anyone used this as a bait for bass ,

hi there, iv had bass on them in the surf here in wales, iv also tip them off withe lug, done ok ,give it a go :wink:

thanks they dont seem to be a popular choice over here but i'll give them a try

one november over high water , had 4 bass over 3lb ,all on cockles :shock: ,bit of a bother shell them ,need a lot to get a good bait on the hook, find it better to tip them off withe lug, when lug hard to get the cockles are a good stand by :wink:
