does anyone know the best state of tide to fish currabinny pier?

Be aware that with the warm weather there will be a lot of boat traffic going and coming from Crosshaven and the RCYC and the deep water channel runs about 20 yards out from the pier, so the closer you get to low tide the closer the boats will be coming to pier.

In the last week a few gurnard have been caught, end of the pier seaward side long cast into the harbour should do it. Belly mackerel as bait.

Exactly what i did and caught 4 whiting ,2 dab and an alright sized tub gurnard...thanks for all the help.
