Bray Head

Mon Jul 09, 2007 8:18 pm

Does anybody know any spots on Bray head which are any good? Looking for a mark to suit anything really, wrasse/pollock, flatties etc, doesn't matter.

Just looking for somewhere different to fish other than the beaches or packed piers. At the moment I suppose somewhere I could spin from would be great. Preferabley locations on the Greystones side. :D

Haven't heard of people fishing here so any info would be welcome, even if its just to say its useless.

you can get pollock at any time of day as long as the tides in, there not too picky.

access is the problem there is a good cove on the greystones side but you need a boat to drop you and collect you (fine calm day only) the last bit of beach as you get to the head used to be good ( cod in winter) had a few good wrasse and pollack sessions there years ago but havnt fished it for yonks the boats are taking some codling off the head so it may be worth a shot there was a sand bank about 80 yards out that held all the fish worth a shot if you are feeling energetic :D
