hi lads,was wonderin if killiney is worth a shot?iv been goin up to greystones recently and every time we go past killiney on the dart my jaw drops

the rock marks look amazing! so has anyone had success with pollack/coalfish any like that here?

the fishing is good because many of the rock marks are so inaccessible, and that is definitely the case when the tides in, which is when the fishings is at the best, i find as shallow diving plug works best over the kelp beds. be careful, it can be very dangerous. your best bet is to start at the nudest baths(when the dart comes out of the long tunnel directly down) and move up towards killiney. you can expect tons of Pollock, Launce, mackerel and the odd bass on the spin. ground fishing will also produce small conger and decent wrasseon the rough ground and plaice,whiting, dab and dogs at distance. in winter it can fish well for codling after a gale. this place is quantity rather than quality although there have been specimen Pollock caught here.

killineys a nice spot, throws up some decent fish and if there where not so many people on it it would be great! :D
