Lads, I'm on the look out for a small chest freezer for my frozen bait, the main fridge in the house is too full, just looking for something cheap and handy.
Any ideas where I should start looking and what the approx price would be?

Your local recycling centre, I know the one nearest me takes fridges/ freezers all of which I would be sure are not broken just being replaced.
Ask around, people are always looking for someone to take fridge/freezers off their hands, or go to Powercity or the like, you might be surprised how cheaply you could get a new fridge freezer.
I bought a good second hand one from a guy 5 years ago for £100, (top of the range job, hardly a mark on it) and was one of the best purchases I made for fishing . . .

If anyone gets a used fridge, plugs it in and finds its not working.....This was a tip given to me by a fridge engineer regarding second hand fridges.....always stand the fridge upside down for 24 hours before you plug it in to use it....this will allow the gas to unblock any blockages that may have happened either while it was being moves or while it was sitting around unused.

Check with the council, they may have some....a yard manager is the best guy to talk to....if you buy a new freezer or fridge now, the shop has to add a disposal charge on to the price....I think thats to cover the cost to the councils for scrapping the old ones...instead of people just dumping them.
