Inchydoney Marks??

Hi all, a friend of mine is heading over to Inchydoney in a week or two and he is wondering if there are any specific areas he should be targetting - its a big beach :). I might join him for an evening so it's not altogether altruistic of me (phanover's Gilthead has made me think a trip over that direction would be worthwhile). So if anyone is willing to give him (us) some marks or some pointers we could try that'd be great.
Cheers...

You could try the Dunmore side of the beach, channel runs out there and you'll get bass, dogs etc.

I've had plaice off the headland between the two beaches fairly regularly to lug.
I worked a couple of summers in the hotel there and frequently saw shoals and shoals of mullet feeding voraciously in the channel at the far end (ie not Dunmore). Must be bass/bream in among them

ok thanks for that lads. I'll let you know how he/we get on.
A friend of his had said that fishing inshore from a boat around there is supposed to be good (turbot, brill etc apparently) - I wonder if long casting would get to them (not that either of us can do massive casts anyway).
He's going to be there for a few days accompanied by his in-laws so he'll be looking for as many marks around the area as he can for escape I suspect, so if theres anywhere else he should be trying for....I saw some old posts about Ring etc so I've banged them on to him.
Cheers.
