Does anyone know of a book with good clear pictures for identifying fish.

Haven't been fishing long and dont know what I do be catching.

Seen this book on amazon: Fish (Collins GEM)

Anybody own it?

I think I have an earlier edition of that book. It's quite good, although so comprehensive that it might made identification harder!!

For more common species, the "The Fish Book"

Worth saving it to a file or folder. It has 33 pages so make sure you have enough paper in the printer.

for those with the N-series nokia mobile phone you can get a small program called pdf lite, you can then read .pdf files like the fishbook.pdf on your mobile phone, so then you always have it with you.. i used to carry a printed copy of it around.. but a few weeks fishing in rain and on beaches saw the paper slowly degrade and fall to pieces..

if you to know more send me a pm :D
