ragworm in captivity

was checking my ragworm in the fridge today while changing their water and noticed a few had small cuts in their sides which were not their yesterday when i changed the water. has anybody noticed rag attacking eachother when kept in thanks

Rag are carnivorous and they do bite each other in captivity. don't mix sizes large with large and small with small. often seen large rag with a half small one hanging out of its mouth.

the interesting thing is that it appears that the small rag hav attacked the large....

you can keep rag alive for weeks/months.

keep them in shallow trays with a dribble of clean sea water.

keep them to about 50 worms per tray. take out any muck and dead ones as soon as you see it.

fridge set about 3. no need for air pump.

when changing the water its best to keep a bottle in the fridge to get it to the same temp as the stuff their in.
