Just wondering about this lure when retrieving.I know it has a wobbling action so is it best to keep reeling or is it a sink and draw type lure?
Cheers.

I normally keep it on the move, but will vary the speed. It's heavy so if you do fish sink and draw you would need to be in deep water.

Never had a bass on one although im sure its just me. I prefer kilty lures or german sprats if using spinners. Would have theough they were too big for sea trout but again not really a fish I have much experience in catching.

We've had bass on the 60 gramme from an estuary on a steady retrieve. The 30 gramme have been recommended as good for fishing estuaries for sea trout and bass when their on the feed for sand eel.

grauvell do one like a dexter but it has a large hole in the front ,bubbles galore on a fast retreive never tried it for bass but deadly for mac and casts miles in the right hands :)

used dexter wedge for the first time last year caught mackeral and pollock with it the mackeral really hammered it casts well too.

Have caught hundreds of bass over the years but have never got one on the deter wedge. I don't know why? They are compact and easy to cast along way, but I dont think they have a good fish attracting action in the water.
The silver Kilty lure or Silver toby around 28g always do the job for me.
