info on when and how to dig lug

i have no idea what to do and what to look for on the ground to give the away.

can you not buy it ? it is hard work to dig though i must admitt if digging your own you know exactly how old it is and have the option of digging large worms if you need big baits or smaller if scratching ,if you pay 15 euro for 60 lug and you earn 15 euro an hour at work is it worth the blisters for the pleasure of digging your own ?????? :cry:

yeah i think it is !! i never buy bait and never will !! its much more satisfying knowing that that you have caught fish on your own bait !! and if i was in a comp i feel much more confident knowing that the bait is in good condition !!

boycie 89 just likes the macho blisters and the salt water getting into them :twisted: but have to agree with him it is a buzz catching a wopper on lug u dug yourself i remember a trip to kilmore quay when a mate of mine dug 100 lug when no one else could be bothered and he was pulling up codling 3 at a time while everyone else was finding it hard to hook one boy did he rub it in :lol: :lol:
