Bass guide/gillie

Ha ha, you know Art using a net is not classed as angling!!, only kidding, no I am fishing most weekends and work during the week. I suggest you set up a thread and arrange a date/venue, and allow the first 20 anglers or so to enter. Anymore than that and it may get messy or hard to figure out what you are doing. So the balls in your court, a date, a time and a venue. :D

True but if 20 anglers are fishing one area and Art prouduces all the fish then that to me would prove he has an "art" to behold hence rocket starting his Ghillie idea, which I have to say I would gladly pay for if he says he can produce these results.

Question also for you Art, have you ever put your magic technique to use on a boat or is it just Shore angling?

use a punt at times to get to sandbanks
do a bit of trolling
have tryed every type of plug/sandeel/spinners/redgills
i now only ever use red flying Cs
a black redgill after that
fished very close to surface
NOW
whats the price for a days ghilling?????????
what do u expect to catch/ how many?
do u need insurance?

Art.I'm going to throw my hat into the ring on this one.I'm not sure of the prices charged by ghillies but if the figures of fish you are catching are correct,and I must admit that I am slightly dubious, :wink: then I would be quite happy to be the first to sign up with you for a days fishing.I can make it any weekend and would shout your praises from the rooftops if you could put me onto 20+ bass in a session. :D :D :D However it does strike me as a little strange that the only time you blanked was when fishing with other members of the forum.

one thing to mention is that if sea trout were caught on the 14th as claimed it was poaching. the latest date in the country is the 12th of oct and I reckon it is 30th sept down there for the close of the season.
Hardly a good sign from someone who wants to be a gille!!!!!!!!
