Whats your New Year's Fishing Resolution

ambitions for this year :-
1) new species (already done 8) )
2) comp win or two would be nice (or at least outfish Petekd in a competitive situation which can almost amount to the same thing :)
3) Get at least 30 species this year
4) I'm with hush1 on the girl for nights fishing -something to do between casts could be good, not sure what my wife will think of that though.......

Just wondered how everyone was getting on with their resolutions, seeing as we are halfway through the year already? I have achieved number 1 a few times this year, and going after a couple more. Haven't managed a win yet, but managed to beat Pete twice competitively so far, so that'll do. On 23 species at the moment, with a couple of ones I'd usually get still to go and the prospect of a few to look forward to this weekened if all goes to plan.
four has been put on hold for obvious reasons. Still looking for the porgie as well...

mine is to add new species to the list, try catch more than 30 species or this years personal record of 607 fish :D

and increase my collection of tackle

half way on the species :shock: need to get out fishing more :shock: (if thats possible)

added another zzippy to collection and 2 penn mags (one supermag extra)

1-fish more no chance of that
2-catch more even less chance
3-get a double figure shore caught fish(do conger count?)have to get fishing first
4-win a match, or just beat mr74 and petekd again :lol:no comment on this
