I have to agree with basshunter. Its not just about the price of the gear. Yes there is savings online to be had but where are they when things go wrong or for those days when you need Something in a hurry. Its easy to bypass tackle shops when you want the best gear at low end prices but from experience the ones i deal with are more often cheaper or advise on something that may look good on paper but is crap on the beach/rock/boat. To me that service is a valueable one. Ive never been let down when it comes to good quality bait either when needed. I will continue to support local. At the end of the day they are also fellow anglers with the same passion for the past time as we do.

Exactly and if it's your local area who better to tell you the weed is thick or there's pin whiting everywhere, not veals or Glasgow.

Spot on basshunter10. We are all in it for the same reasons and i know i could pick up the phone ring the shops and get the info or tackle i need at the very latest next day.
