Thanks Davy for the information. It's been very helpful.
It's a shame the service isn't free in the North but at least what they are charging for doing it isn't too bad a price. I'm sure it's slighly more than £19 + vat this year as the prices go up every year but that's still not too bad. I can cope with that.

just wait till your in the south or know somebody coming down and get them done then!! the £19 could get you enough bait to catch something worth weighting :D :D

i presume a scales certified either side of the border is recognised by both?

Thanks Red, that's good advice there. I was thinking of doing that, it won't be long until I'm going back down south on another bass hunt so I might wait and get them done then.
