would there be a discount for 2 or more people and are rods included in the price??

I'll do 2 for €60 each, but you'll have to wait for the next lidl/aldi sale, if you want me to provide the rods/reels

Just my opinion on this topic too gents,

Bass are neither hard to catch or hard to find, do a small bit of research on the type of venues they are likely to frequent and what they eat and you'll improve the catch rate big time.
10 minutes wasted reading this thread is better spent reading about tactis and locations of your quarry!

I have no problem sharing info where I can but if I've been asked not to disclose it i wouldn't either.

If you blank a session, try again do the research, don't expect to be taken to a mark and have a fish presented to you first cast. Sure that's not fishin if ur an adult!

Anyway everyone knows all the Bass are in Waterford! :D :D

very true, bass are the blondes of the sea, beautifull and majestic to look at, but inside lies a diminished brain which struggles to understand the difference between a feather and a maria chase

probably the most accurate post in a while, apart from the last line  ). i spent months searching for my first Bass, trying all different beaches and baits. i got to one beach with a friend who had a few there the year before and this night he had 2 to my none(luck maybe??). i knew there was bound to be more so kept at it, trying different baits and different stages of the tide with plenty of blanks but eventually i was rewarded with 1 and finished the session with 5, biggest being around 6.5lbs and another a few weeks later at over 8lbs, proving that not all of them are in waterford, just most of them
keep at it for a few sessions before deciding to change beaches.

There were a few in Co Louth last night aswell..... must have got lost on there way to waterford, maybe they took a right instead of a left turn............adds credence to erics comments about them being the blondes of the sea

You been teaching them bass directions eric

You've hit the nail on the head there kstaff

hi,
there seems to be a few lads fishing around the blackrock sandymount area lately, in fact maybe one of them will give you the exact location!! then again they will probably do the usual thing and tell you nothing or a different location or you might not even get a reply!
where ever you go i hope you catch a huge Bass and DONT forget if you take a picture make sure you rub out the backround like all the other sad'os

I thought long and hard about this post before deciding to take the bait (pardon the pun) and reply.

I am no sado and take offence to this type of generalisation regarding my character. You dont know me, so should'nt be so immature to make such comments. Furthermore, after posting recent reports of catching Bass around Dublin, I have replied to any requests I recieved regarding help with such marks.

However, surely part of angling is about getting out there, putting in the work and trying different locations, tides, tactics etc. We shouldnt expect to be spoon-fed this info by devine right !!! But a few pointers can be no bad thing.

Indeed I had tried a particular spot last year, its a decent 40minute walk to the mark, but it produced my 1st ever Bass, a double shot actually. Nobody had told me about this place or how to fish it. But in my opnion based on my very limited knowledge at the time, I though it looked fishy and should produce. I fished it 3 times last year, and got 2 Bass for my trouble....atleast I was off the mark with the species.

If it wasnt for the help and advice of many site members I wouldnt have half the knowledge about our beloved sport that I now do. I only started my sea angling last year, and my learning curve has been steep thanks to site members. I am extremely thankful for this.

However, we also have to respect the fact that many good marks have been passed onto us by other anglers, and it sometimes isnt right to share this info with all and sundry.

If your comments were not aimed at me, then please accept my apology.
