On reflection, it would be better to leave the Rosslare meet as it is as it is peak time for Smooth Hound and tope.
How about a sortie down the 5th of May? Bass season still ok too?

Guys i just wanted to say that i think you can have a really good session here. If you could get one or two people to have a look at the venue first as the bars change on a yearly basis in terms of backfilling on tides etc.
There are some expanses of sand that could prove problematic if say a fog came down and people became disoriented. I do believe it has the potential to be a great session but i (open to correction here) feel it might fish better during July or September - this leaves a good stretch of time for planning the considerable logistics for bait fishing.

Is it possible to drive along the smaller tracks closer to the point, at least as far as the where the forest begins (near the "n" of "Raven") ... ?

Seems like a craicing spot :) Would love to head down later in the summer if anyone is up for it...unfortunatly i wont be able to make the 5th May but looking forward to seeing how ya's get on :)

Nope
On the left is the Wildfowl Reserve/North Slob and access through the forest is usually blocked off by a barrier
