rechargeable batteries

Hi all

I've a new headlight on its way to me and should be here within days.For some reason it does not come with batteries but it comes
with a charging station.anyway for 10 euro and up too 1800 lumens of light output i am on the search for the best economical rechargeable batteries.With the season now nearly ready to kick off,id like to get a few opinions of you guys that maybe have had the expeirence of buying these for your own.the headlight will reguire 2xAA batteries so if i could get a pack of four,it would be ideal,while useing two,have the other two charging

watch out for LIDL they have 4 different types about every 4\6 weeks a aa,aaa,and 9v they also have watch type

have you used these yourself and if so how do you think they done,would they be good enough for a nights fishing

An 1800 lumens lamp with only 2aa batterys will eat through batterys I'd get a spare set too

I use energiser 2450 mah batters and find them good but they are not cheep about €25 for a pack of 4 , but I'd stay away from the jap batters on eBay they are nowhere near what they are rated to.

I bought a load of cheap rechargable ones from hong kong on ebay cant fault them i bring a few spares with me just in case

Duracell StayCharged, I've beeen using these in my digital camera, headlight and wireless keyboard & mouse and get way more time than my previous Energiser rechargables

I got a haep of cheap ones and they're all rubbish, in end just got duracell ones from here.... buy cheap, pay twice is what I've found.>

I get my batteries from 7dayshop.com I've been using them for years and have found there batteries to be excellent. Not the best place to be buying a single pack of 4 though. Kids have silly amounts of toys that require batteries, so I tend to buy a few packs at once.

At 1800 lumens It might have been better to get a headlight that uses higher capacity batteries.. What type of LED pushes out that much light?

1800 lumens i think you,ll need three sets for a session ! the lidle ones are fine for the price i use them in my camera and they last well ,i did buy expensive ones once but couldnt see twice the performance for twice the price!!

the light itself can reach a max of 1800 lumens,,now i certainly wont need that but mentioned it to get best replys for the batteries etc,
personally i think 200-250 lumens is loads

What did he buy? A crossbow? As goods are sent from Hongkong, I ordered lots of things there in the past, delivery usually takes 10-14 days realistically. Depending on what you buy and the value of your purchase, it might have to go through customs and this always causes a delay.

It was a €30 car code reader they emailed every week to see I it had arrived because they said they were not sure if they had sent it, so just be carefull

Can you throw up a link to your headlight. If it can take the 3.7v trustfire batteries, these are your best bet, but don't buy them unless you know your headlight can use them. If it can. just get the best AA's as close to 3000mAh as possible.

Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries are excellent, way better than any rechargables out their and last. cost a bit more, but worth it

Kev,,i actaully need good batteries and a charger aswell,,read it wrong when putting up post,thought charger was included for some reason,,,,,,so charger and best AA batteries needed,,,they will have to be fairly good as it requires two batteries only,,i dont mind getting batteries seperate from the charger as i can pick up a charger serperately too

yes i actually heard about these one,,some people are telling me that you dont get better actually,,more pricey but worth it maybe,,il hold on yet till i see what comes in,,thanks for your reply AFT
