How ya Graham,

I know the fork you mean, it's 1 of those Mythical Flat Tined ones that you can't get here in Ireland! They don't exist! I gave up looking years ago, I'm taking Alan Yates's if I ever meet him cause he always said you need one! Then again the standard fork I use has never left me down, if it's a hole for worms I need to dig it does the job, never tried it for the spuds though! :D

Keep me posted if you find one!

Cheers.

hi boycie it had 4 prongs, used to use the trident forks on the East coast of england great for the blacks,,also used what we called a grafter,a long 18 to24inch narrow spade no more than 6 inches wide,,both methods are better than pumping if you require to keep the worms alive,,anyhow thanks for all the help and offers about the fork to all the lads on the site i have got a beaut on order from a place in ,,of all places Dublin,,thanks again
