Sea Angling Ireland - Privacy policy

This policy explains in detail how “Sea Angling Ireland” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Sea Angling Ireland”, “https://www.sea-angling-ireland.org/forum”) and phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Group”, “phpBB Teams”) use any information collected during any session of usage by you (hereinafter “your information”).

Your information is collected via two ways. Firstly, by browsing “Sea Angling Ireland” will cause the phpBB software to create a number of cookies, which are small text files that are downloaded on to your computer’s web browser temporary files. Any information beyond your user name, your password, and your e-mail address required by “Sea Angling Ireland” during the registration process is either mandatory or optional, at the discretion of “Sea Angling Ireland”. In all cases, you have the option of what information in your account is publicly displayed. In addition to the above sea-angling-ireland.org will also store all of the IP address that you use to post with. Depending on your preferences sea-angling-ireland.org may send you emails to the email address that you used when you registered or you have subsequently changed but you are able to change these preferences from your User Control Panel (UCP) at any time should you wish to stop receiving them.

The personal details that you gave us when you signed up will be used solely for the purposes of sea-angling-ireland.org board functionality. They will not be used for anything else and neither will they be passed on to any third party without your explicit consent.

The only other information about you is that which you decide to post in the forum.

You may delete your account from the control panel. Your posts will be remain but the username will be anonymised.

Third Party Cookies

In addition to the cookies set by sea angling ireland, cookies may also be set by a number of our site partners.

We use third party advertisements to support our site.
