Greystones or Bray or maybe Balscadden bay in Howth. Not sure if I've heard of any catches from these places yet this year and I'm coming to the realisation that Howth habour and Dun Laoghaire habour are not great for anything except mackerel in the summer (although there's usually a few dogfish and small pollack). In saying this though I got talking to a very experienced guy from Siberia at the end of Howth west pier the other evening. I didn't see him catch anything but I suspect he knows something I don't. I was considering the Tolka estuary for flatfish and bass Saturday/Sunday evening on the incoming tide but I'm not really sure about the eating due to pollution. Best of luck, would be interested to know how you get on.
