Bn fishing around tramore for the past few days.... Had a disaster of a session up at saleens with wind, weed was unbelievable and with frustration I just left it so... Is the weed always as bad at this mark or just on windy days also is there any clean ground fishing in the area???? T. I. A

weed is bad at saleens after a long spell of good weather once the weather changes cos a lot of stuff that normally survives near the high water mark dries and dies and then gets swept up on a big tide or with wind... nothing unusual about it or specific to Saleens. From (distant) memory it fishes best on the ebb, with crab, for about two hours down, and not that far out, with people often overcasting the fish? Otherwise go far up onto the beach and try there.
