Has anyone ever fished Skerries or loughshinny piers this time of the year or Donabate?

Skerries can be OK ,lots of pin whiting with the odd bigger one ,tiny codling and the odd flounder .its not spectacular fishing ,I'm sure loughshinny is the same but shallower.

Donabate from low tide with a bit of a se blow fishing every week 10 to 15 yard casts for flounder black mack an maddies are good baits fish it every week :)

Fished Donabate on incoming tide on Thursday night, nowt. Fished Ballytrent in Wexford last night, nowt.

Got a bass and nice flat on Donabate early in the year, May I think.

Like already said, small codling and whiting. It’s rarely fished this time of year though and i’m Sure there’s probably more to be had. Probably small conger close to the pier too!

Ballytrent seems to throw an odd god fish up during the summer months. Flounder and an odd Bass.
