Well fellas I was down in woodstown tonight got 7 big flatties anyone else down there lately with any joy ??

Haven't fished woodstown but have fished around the Estuary with nothing much showing, few coalies, dogs seemed to have cleared off but no whiting or codling yet

2019 species: codling, whiting, flounder, dab, dogfish, spurdog, sole, smooth hound, bass
2020 species: codling, dab, whiting, flounder, dogfish, turbot, smooth hound, bass
2021 species: flounder, black goby, dogfish, smooth hound
2022 species: dogfish, smooth hound
2023 species: flounder
2024 species: dab

Throws up the odd bass from my experience but always got flats off it

Were the flatties ,plaice?

I was fishing up the estuary on the boat ,loads of eels and one cod about 3lb

Nice one, flatties were probably flounders, never heard of much plaice caught in the estuary. I hope someone can prove me wrong. I'm gonna fish the estuary in the next few weeks with crab and see what I get

Well lads yeah they were flonuders n sole me friend for 2 small small cod where did ya get the 3lb cod lad did u ever fish d mud hole

Sole?!? Interesting..what size hooks were you using? Only ever had dabs and flounders in the estuary
