Baits for Ray

Postby Hoops76 » Fri Apr 29, 2016 3:37 pm

What's the favoured bait for Ray on the SW coast?
In Cornwall its sandeel, live or frozen , you pick up on other baits but sandeel will out fish anything else.
That's for thornie, spotted and small eyes,
Cheers

Sand eel or Mackerel would be the best choice on a pennel rig

The Airstrip outside Bantry would be a good spot for thornbacks after you cleaned out the dogs and huss
