They recommend 70-100 amp hours(Ah) Amp hours would be a fairly common rating.
I cannot say about specific marine/leisure batteries. It is said that they are good for marine applications and when I had them fitted they worked fine. I have a std automotive battery fitted with no problems. I'd tend to go for the higher Ah rating for the size I can fit in. I currently have a 4x4 battery of 95 Ah for my Mariner F100

Check your local motor factor and/or agri dealer too... they often have good offers!

A regular Automotive battery will also do the business, once you keep it charged. One of the main advantages of a marine battery is they are "deep cycle" essentially they can be completely discharged and recharged without impacting too much on the battery. Try do that twice with a Auto battery and it will be useless. Auto batteries can have their advantages as well. They typically have a higher CCA value. This is Cold cranking Amps... The amount of current the battery can provide when cold for the starting motor. This would be more useful for larger engines... 100Hp plus.
