Hi folks has anyone fished this area at this time of year. I tried it for few hours last Sunday 2hours before hw and 1 hour after off wooden bridge and out along wall near last shelter and at end of breakwater, nada. Looks like flounder ground but very little info about. Your thoughts or pms would be treated in confidence.
Cheers folks

Hi keem, I've fished this spot a few times recently. Heard reports of bass from spring to late summer. I've caught plenty of bass in bayside/kilbarrack area.
Anyway always blanked at the bridge. The only successful time for flounder was when I buried some groundbait at low tide out about 70/80 yrds. Was using rag on rhe hook.
Good luck, let me know how u get on.

They can be caught anywhere in the lagoon, most are caught at the little pier where you say because it's handy to fish there. Here's one, lolImage
