Bait and tackle shops around Clare

Postby Deleted User 3157 » Tue Dec 05, 2017 6:31 pm

Been away for any form of sea angling for a good few years now, mostly due to some persistent and annoying health issues. However, I hoping to start venturing out again soon maybe over the Christmas break if the weather permits.

Can anyone recommend some tackle shops where I may be able to source some bait around the Clare coastline. I would be looking for lugworm, squid, sandeels etc.
I presume the tackle shop in Fanore is still around as I have found them on the web, but are there any other outlets for bait these day’s?

The ones with the snowflake symbol have frozen bait
And the ones with the worms beside the snowflake have live bait!

I’d say ring them first to see what they have in stock
