Lure fishing for Pollock around Dublin

Postby florinc20 » Fri Jul 14, 2017 2:39 pm

Hi All,

Just curious to see if there is any chance for a pollock on lures around Dublin. I've recently moved here and I'm completely new to sea fishing.
I've been reading a little about where to search for this fish and how to tackle it but I don't know if there are any suitable venues around Dublin.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers!

Hi Rob!

Thanks a mil. I'll try this as my first sea shore fishing adventure and see if I get lucky :D
Still trying to get my head around what is the best period of day and tide to fish...from what I've read so far it seems that best is dusk on an ebb tide. Would that apply to this spot as well?

Cheers!
