Mon Aug 02, 2004 10:15 am

Big Kev and myselft deceide to take the two and a half hour drive to Dingle again. This time we said we would try for some bass at first light.
Crazily we left Limerick at 2am (Had just finished work at 11.30pm).
We arrive at Trabeg at 4.30am, just as it was starting to get bright.
We would usually arrive at first light when the tide starts flooding up the estuary, but todays tide was high at 4.30am.
We started to spin with Toby's and sliver Spoons and the odd Rapala.
We fished this spot for 2 hours with only a small joey mackeral to show for it.

On the way back some rocks gave way from under my fott and I landed flat on my arse

We then moved onto Slea Head.
